Tercera observación de Silvia Valenciaga a Tim Jones (Soria - Inglés Primaria)

Silvia hizo su tercera observación a Tim habiendo disfrutado y aprendido mucho de las dos anteriores. En esta última, además, recogió varios recursos muy útiles e interesantes para el aula y los comparte con nosotros en esta entrada.

Hola a todos,

¡todo lo bueno acaba!, pero esta claro que nos quedamos con grandes experiencias que hemos podido vivir y es así como las podremos poner en práctica. Ha sido un placer trabajar con Tim en el CEIP Doce Linajes (Soria) observando con ojos de niños y de maestro. Esta experiencia me ha permitido cumplir el objetivo que me propuse en el inicio, reflexionar sobre la práctica docente, especialmente en las áreas de lengua inglesa. Ha sido todo un lujo aplicar juegos, estrategias para la mejora del proceso así como visiones de otro docente, ASÍ ES COMO SE APRENDE, tanto niños como docentes.

En nuestra última práctica pude aprender nuevas estrategias y dinámicas que permiten enganchar a nuestros alumnos en el proceso de aprendizaje de una forma mucho más colaboradora y divertida. Seguimos trabajando en Inglés y también pude entrar en una clase de Science para observar un proyecto vertical que se trabaja en el centro así que todo un lujo. 

Ahora es momento de reflexión a través del INNOVADOC, nos permitirá aún más valorar lo que hacemos en nuestro día a día y cómo es de importante cada segundo que pasamos con los alumnos desde que entramos hasta que salimos, las pequeñas y grandes cosas que hacemos. La reflexión acompañada de autoevaluación, sin duda alguna permite mejorar en nuestra práctica docente. 

Un placer haber compartido esta experiencia. Os comparto todo cuanto aprendí así como material useful en la sección recursos, seguro que os pueden servir, algunos de os vuestros ya los he usado, jejejejeje.

Aquí os dejo recursos interesantes para trabajar en el aula. Espero os sirva todo lo que en la tercera observación aprendí y lo podáis llevar también a la práctica.

PRONUNCIATION STRATEGY: to work on pronunciation, teacher say a word and students have to look for the word in the dictionary. once, they have the word they go to the board and write it. if they guess, one point.

WORK ON KEY WORDS: to work with new vocabulary or remembering. Key words on the blackboard. Two rows of students. One student from every row have to point out the word he/she listens, the quickest, the winner.

PLAY WITH DECK OF CARDS: every card is a question, students have to pick a card and guess the questions. it can be with vocabulary or whatever.

SCIENCE PROYECT TRIORAMA   

Here’s how we made it:

1. We started off with plain A4 paper. Card would work better .

2. Fold down top right corner. Make a crease. Do the same for the top left corner.

3. Flip the paper over & fold the bottom edge up. Make a crease. Open it up again & then fold a line 2 cm up. Make a crease.

4. Turn the page back over again. Open up all of the folds. Cut the top right diagonal to the centre point.

5. Add text to the bottom flap. Leave the bottom 2cm section blank.
Decorate the bottom, left & right triangles. Leave the top triangle blank.

6. Add glue to the blank top triangle & fold & glue it behind the right triangle, forming the triorama.

7. You can either leave it like this, with the text hanging over the desk, or glue 3 more completed trioramas together.

8. Turn them upside down & glue the overlapping corners of the 2cm flaps you folded earlier. This will form the base.

9. Add paper cutouts, modeling clay, figurines, etc, to finish off the display.

 We glued the four trioramas together to make one display. You could paper clip them together if it was a group project & each child wanted to take home their own work at the end of term.
